Through the test, trials and teachings of life, ChaChira Smith- Robinson has learned and continues to learn, how to trust in the written Word of God, in the form of the Holy Bible, for daily instruction.  Her faith and trust in God has continually increased and strengthened throughout the years while also holistically enhancing her life. 

In 2006, after years of serving in various areas of ministry at Ford Memorial Temple under the leadership of Bishop Andrew J. and Lady Jean C. Ford, II, ChaChira was led by the Holy Ghost to return to Mount Vernon Baptist Church to assist her father in the administration and operations of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.   By building upon the established foundation of the ministry while encouraging and fostering the implementation of innovative and alternative growth efforts, the Lord also pressed other areas of ministry on ChaChira to encourage individuals in their purposed living.  This was done by sending encouraging life application text messages with scripture.  From this Purpose Living Ministries was birthed with Daily Purpose text messages being personally sent to individuals to inspire and encourage them on and in their daily walk in life.   

With a desire to do more and reach more she was challenged in 2020 to embark on an endeavor to become a network television show host for her voice to be heard on a broader level.   The Pastor Chira Show first aired on January 5, 2021 on The NowNetwork (www.theNowNetwork.org) and has aired weekly on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 PM EST with a rebroadcast on Thursday mornings at 7 AM EST on The Pastor Chira Show YouTube Channel.  The candid conversations have been a source of inspiration to elevate and educate individuals in their mindset, relationships and territory perspectives.

ChaChira Smith-Robinson, became a licensed minister in January 2016, and is the first and only to be licensed under the leadership of her father, Pastor Bernard C. Smith at Mount Vernon Baptist Church of Philadelphia, PA.  In September 2019 she was ordained by an independent council of Bishops, Overseers, Pastors and Elders within various ecclesiastical denominations & reformations and installed as the Assistant Pastor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.  Two years later, in September 2021, upon the announcement of her father’s retirement as senior leader of the ministry, Assistant Pastor ChaChira Smith-Robinson was affirmed and  installed as the Senior Lead and Pastor of the ministry.  She is married to retired Army Srgt., Deacon Harvey E. Robinson, Jr.  who continually supports and works with her to ensure the work of the Lord continues with the excellence that God requires.
